At the foot of the campsite, the Burgundy Canal offers one of the most beautiful settings for a walk in Tonnerre. The lock located nearby (200 meters) allows you to observe the passage of barges and understand the workings of this 19th-century waterway heritage.
The towpath is ideal for a peaceful walk or bike ride. It's also a perfect starting point for following the canal towards Ancy-le-Franc or, in the other direction, towards the neighboring villages.
A simple, free outing, immediately accessible from Camping La Cascade, perfect for a quiet end of the day or morning.
