In 2026, we welcome you to the La Cascade municipal campsite with special attention: to offer you a serene stay, in a clean, calm and well-maintained place, in the heart of Tonnerre.
Located in Tonnerre, in the Yonne department (89), Camping La Cascade welcomes you to the heart of Burgundy, a stone's throw from the Burgundy Canal and the greenway. Ideal for cyclists , hikers , and motorhome travelers , our municipal campsite offers a privileged natural setting between the river and the town center.
Whether you are looking for a campsite in the Yonne for a cycling stopover, a nature stay in Burgundy or a break by the canal, you will find here spacious pitches, equipped accommodations and a simple and warm welcome.
Just a few minutes' walk away, the town of Tonnerre, designated a " Small Town of Tomorrow," is worth admiring for its heritage and the famous " Fosse Dionne" (Dionne Fountain). There you will find all the shops and services you need, including two weekly markets.

Dogs and cats are allowed in the campsite under certain conditions:

In our rentals (mobile homes and Coco Sweet):

Climbing on beds and sofas is prohibited.

Owners remain responsible for their animal (cleanliness, behavior, respect for the premises).

Camping La Cascade applies the regulations in force regarding the smoking ban in public places.
Therefore, smoking is prohibited in all shared areas (reception, sanitary facilities, pathways, and communal areas such as the snack area, its terrace, and the barn tent available to guests).
The campsite welcomes a European clientele where smoking has become very limited. This approach reflects evolving habits, with strong expectations regarding air quality, cleanliness, and respect for shared spaces. It is a deliberate choice, consistent with the experience we aim to provide.
Smoking is however tolerated 👉 provided that a visible ashtray is used:

Any cigarette butt thrown on the ground is considered a breach of the campsite rules and may result in exclusion.

Camping La Cascade is a place for rest and short stays, appreciated for its calm atmosphere and natural setting.
We welcome a travelling, European clientele, attentive to tranquillity, cleanliness and respect for others.
👉 Quietness is expected at all times, especially from 10:00 pm.
👉 Noisy or inappropriate behaviour does not match the spirit of the campsite.
👉 Everyone is expected to respect their neighbours and shared spaces.
This is a deliberate choice: offering a peaceful, simple and respectful stay for all.
If you are looking for a lively or festive stay, this campsite may not meet your expectations. Other establishments will be better suited to this type of experience.
Camping La Cascade is a place designed for rest and a peaceful stay.
Therefore, vehicle movements, engine use and access to the service area are not permitted between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m., in line with the campsite operation and the gate closure during this period.
This is a deliberate choice to ensure that the vast majority of our guests enjoy a consistent and respectful environment.
Here, we consciously prioritise calm, respect and quality of stay.

Reception is provided during the day , generally from:
9:00 AM to 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM

The campsite gate is closed every night until 8:30 am to ensure peace and security on the site.
